One Day More Audition Information

When: Saturday, April 27th, 2024
Where: Kirkwood Community Center
111 S Geyer Rd, Kirkwood, MO 63122
Room 300 (second floor), we will have people on first floor to help direct you!
Time: There are 2 audition slots available per age group!
9:00am-10:00am (ages 8-13)
10:30am-11:30am (ages 14-18)
1:00pm-2:00pm (ages 8-13)
2:30pm-3:30pm (ages 14-18)
Sign up for 1 audition slot according to your age and the time that best works for you (AM vs PM).
Maximum of 20 auditioners per slot.
Auditions might run 15 minutes over the scheduled hour-long time-frame depending on size of group. We will move as efficiently as possible in order to stay on schedule.

Prepare
Song: Please prepare a 16-32 bar cut (or approx. 1 minute cut) of ANY musical theater song!
Bring an electronic device (phone, tablet, etc) that you can access your backing track/instrumental on- karaoke tracks are fine. We will have a bluetooth and plug-in speaker in order to play your music.
Choose a song that showcases YOU! Whether you sound amazing singing it, or just love singing the song. We want to see you shine!
Dance: The audition choreography + a step-by-step video is below. We ask that all auditioners show up knowing the dance.
At auditions, there will be a chance to review the combo and ask questions. In the meantime, direct any and all questions about choreography to archcitytheatertroupe@gmail.com
All ages have the same choreography and will learn the same dance!
Wear any shoes comfortable for dancing (Both tennis shoes or jazz shoes work great!)
Bring: We ask that you bring a few things to auditions!
As previously stated, please bring a device with your backing track on it!
Bring a headshot/clear photo of yourself. Any picture that is JUST you, and we can clearly see your face will do.
You can OPTIONALLY bring a resume. However, we will have a form at auditions where past experience/skills can be listed if you do not have a resume!
Reminders
Online Auditions: While we would prefer to see everyone in-person, if you cannot make auditions April 27th, do not fear! Contact us at archcitytheatertroupe@gmail.com to receive an alternate online audition form.
Final Thoughts: We look forward to seeing you all Saturday, April 27th! Remember to come prepared, but most importantly, have fun! Our team cannot wait to meet you, or see your familiar face!
